Enlightened understanding of radioactivity and nuclear subjects must be based on data, facts, and evidence; not myths, superstitions, and liturgical regulatory compliance. The 33rd anniversary of the Chernobyl accident offers yet another opportunity to challenge unrealistic but hide-bound assumptions and persistent phobias largely generated by conclusion-averse bureaucracies and amplified by dominant media.
